Challenge

Renowned Middle Eastern master dance and music teacher, Nourhan Sharif says farewell to the road with a rare workshop in Orange County, CA. The challenge was to capture the internal light she brings to the stage in a flat flyer.

Solution

Nourhan’s magnetic presence was captured by selecting a photo that exemplifies her grace, confidence and stage magic. The word “nour” means light, so bringing focus to her name by using shiny gold texture was a perfect way to put her name in the spotlight without upstaging her photo.
